Description
The magnetic VACUUM phone mount by FIDLOCK is a highly flexible solution for bicycle handlebars. It's ideal for anyone who wants to keep their phone securely and reliably in view while riding. Thanks to the clamp, installation takes just a few simple steps and requires no tools. The mount by FIDLOCK is suitable for all handlebar tubes up to 40 mm in diameter.
The phone can be rotated in all directions (360° rotation), while a ball detent prevents it from accidentally turning during the ride.
Note: The magnetic VACUUM patch may only be attached to plastic cases and not directly to the smartphone.
There are two mounting options (included) for the magnetic VACUUM patch:
Nano-Gel technology (pre-installed and reusable)
The patch comes standard with a Nano-Gel coating on the back and is ready to use right away. It adheres directly to smooth, flat, solid plastic surfaces - ideal for the back of plastic phone cases.
Advantage: The Nano-Gel layer can be removed without residue, washed, and reused several times.
3M adhesive pad (permanent)
If the Nano-Gel adhesion does not work on your phone case (e.g. due to a special coating or material), you can use the included 3M adhesive pad as a permanent alternative. The 3M version is recommended when riding on uneven terrain
Important: The 3M version is intended exclusively for attachment to suitable protective cases (made of plastic) - not directly to the phone. The 3M adhesive pad, which is mounted afterward,The adhesive pad cannot be removed without leaving residue; the Nano-Gel function can no longer be used afterward.
Note:
Our partner FIDLOCK calls the magnetic phone mount the VACUUM handlebar base flex.
