How the magnet system works
In addition to magnetic tableware and glasses, we offer numerous other magnetic accessories and practical wall mounts without drilling or screws.
The magnetic range
To use the system, you need magnetic dishes or other smart magnetic accessories from silwy®. A perfectly embedded magnet is integrated into the base of our products, which, together with a metal counter pole, ensures a secure hold - even while driving.
The integrated magnet also means you don't have to worry about rust forming when washing up.
The metallic antithesis
Of course, in addition to the magnetic product, you also need a metal counterpart to hold the silwy® tableware or silwy® accessories securely in place. There are different versions of metal accessories depending on the product and intended use.
Basically, you have the option of storing your silwy® equipment upright or upside down to save space.

Tips and tricks for boat owners
Stow glasses upside down
Too little space is probably an issue for almost everyone before the journey begins. With the silwy® magnetic system, you can use the space super efficiently. For example, you can store your magnetic glasses upside down with the Metal Strip , even in places where glasses normally don't belong.
Cups on the dashboard
Everyone loves coffee, tea or a cool drink between meals. With the magnetic cups, you also get a great to-go cup on board. The Metal-Nano-Gel-Pad holds the cup securely in place at the front and your favorite drink is always to hand. The pad can be removed again without leaving any residue.
Space-saving stacking
The magnet in the base holds the dishes in place - nothing rattles or clatters during the journey. The space is therefore well utilized. We recommend the metal nano-gel mat so that the crockery is also fixed at the bottom. This can be cut to size and is also removable.
Fastening the coffee machine
Thanks to the smart magnetic solution, your coffee machine can finally always be left outside. It doesn't need to be fixed in place with tensioning straps or any other construction of your own - the Power-Bundle-XXL takes care of that from now on. The system can be removed again at any time without leaving any residue .
Retrofitting existing glasses
If you already have a complete set of glasses, plates or bowls, you can also retrofit your crockery with the silwy® magnetic system in no time at all. We have developed special adapters for this that fit all conventional glasses. Such adapters are also available for plates, pots, etc.
Fastenings without drilling
You can never have enough hooks or fastening options. Whether for a wet bath towel, jacket or rucksack - the options are always limited. That's why the removable hooks and pins are highly recommended. Thanks to the pads, they can be used wherever you need them.

Do the magnetic glasses hold even in high waves or heavy seas?
Yes, the force ratio between the magnetic glass and the Metal-Nano-Gel-Pad is perfectly balanced so that the glass is held firmly enough by the pad.
Can I use the Metal-Nano-Gel-Pads more than once?
Yes, the pads can be removed without leaving any residue and can be repositioned as often as required. From time to time, the pad must be cleaned under clear water to reactivate the full adhesive force.
Does this also work on wooden tables or other surfaces?
Yes, the Metal-Nano-Gel-Pads adhere to any smooth surface. After use, you can remove the pad without leaving any residue and use it elsewhere.
How do I clean the Metal-Nano-Gel-Pads?
The pads should simply be cleaned with clean water. Please do not use soap or washing-up liquid - clear water is sufficient.
What do I need to be able to use the system?
You need our magnetic tableware and a corresponding metallic counterpart. For example, if you choose our magnetic crystal glasses for wine, you will receive two magnetic glasses including two Metal-Nano-Gel-Pads. When you buy glasses, Cups etc., the pads are always included - one glass -> one pad, two glasses -> two pads and so on. :)
Optionally, you can use our adapter solutions if you have already purchased crockery equipment but would still like to use our magnetic system.
Are there also magnetic solutions for existing glasses?
Yes, not only for glasses but also for plates, bowls and pots.

TIP: Use a different adapter color for each family member/friend - so you can see at a glance who owns which glass!
I don't want real glass on my boat - are there alternatives?
Yes, in addition to crystal glass, we naturally also have shatterproof high-tech plastic.
Does magnetism influence the compass on board?
A legitimate question - but we can give the all-clear. So, no need to worry: just keep a distance of approx. 50 cm from the compass - that's quite enough!
