Nano-Gel-Sticker BLIND SPOTS

The silwy® ANGLES MORTS labels are the reusable solution for the mandatory blind spot stickers or warning signs for vehicles over 3.5 tons required in France. Thanks to smart nano-gel technology, they adhere securely to smooth vehicle surfaces, can be removed residue-free at any time, and reused as often as desired. The specially developed nano-gel is water-resistant, remains shape-stable even under sunlight, and can be easily cleaned with clear water if needed.

The reusable nano-gel labels are ideal for motorhomes, campers, and all vehicles over 3.5 tons. Unlike conventional blind spot stickers, the warning signs do not have to remain permanently on the vehicle. They can be removed without residue at any time, stored, and reapplied on the next trip to France. The 3-piece set complies with the required size of 25 × 17 cm.

Please observe the currently applicable French regulations when applying. Motorhomes and campers from abroad must also display the required warning signs on the vehicle according to French regulations.

Tip for optimal adhesion

Many vehicle exterior surfaces are treated with nano-wax, ceramic coatings, or similar protective layers. For optimal adhesion, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and degreasing the application area with isopropanol or alcohol before applying. In our practical tests, SONAX PROFILINE Prepare has proven to be a suitable pretreatment for sealed vehicle surfaces.

If the vehicle already has films or stickers, the nano-gel labels can also be applied directly on them. It is important that the film or sticker is also thoroughly cleaned and degreased with isopropanol or alcohol beforehand. The labels are also ideal for GFK surfaces (glass fiber reinforced plastic), as used on many motorhomes and campers.

The nano-gel used is temperature stable up to 80 °C. At higher temperatures, however, the gel softens and can be damaged. For optimal adhesion, we recommend applying the labels only at normal, dry ambient temperatures of about 18 to 25 °C and removing them only within this temperature range. This ensures long-term adhesion and reusability.

For storage after use, we recommend standard A4 clear sleeves or document protectors. Since the supplied protective film usually no longer fits precisely after the first use, the labels can be stored cleanly on it until the next trip to France.

Since vehicle surfaces can vary depending on sealing and maintenance condition, we generally recommend checking adhesion before each trip.
