Description

The magnetic hook must be combined with a metallic counterpart. A metal strip is included in the set for this purpose. The force ratio between the magnetic hook and the metal strip is perfectly balanced so that the hooks can be fixed by the strip on the one hand, but can also be easily removed from the strip on the other. The thick metal core inside the bar makes the tractive force particularly strong.

The Metal Strip is permanently attached using 3M adhesive tape. Please follow the installation instructions on the product page.

The combination of Magnetic hook and Metal Strip can be loaded with up to 10 kg.

How to fit the strip

First clean the desired area with a degreasing agent such as white spirit.

Remove 3M adhesive tape from metal strip

There is 3M adhesive tape on the back of the metal strip. Remove the protective film.

Press the bar firmly into place and wait about 60 minutes before using it.

Holds very well, it can withstand several jackets.

Very practical, we installed them in the motorhome because drilling holes in the bathroom wall was not an option.

The retaining plate and coat hooks are solidly constructed, the magnet in the hooks is very strong and will probably be able to hold more weight than specified. One visual disadvantage is that the hooks leave marks in the grained surface of the retaining plates due to the strong magnet. I would buy the product again, but it is not cheap.

What do I have to consider when installing my Metal Strip ?

The surface should be smooth and cleaned with spirit beforehand. Then remove the 3M adhesive tape from the strip and mount it in the desired position.

How do I get the hooks off the bar?

The thick metal layer inside the bar makes the tractive force particularly strong. Nevertheless, the hooks can of course be removed from the bar.

Our tip: Tilt the hooks to the side.
